I would like to thank you for your coaching over the past six months or so. Over the past 3 weeks we put together a strategy for asking for referrals from my top 50 clients. We put the script together, organized the data base and I started calling. The first couple of calls were a little tough but I persisted. I called them all over a week or so and I was surprised at the result.

When the calls were completed I had received 18 referrals. Many of them were quite valuable and I am following up with all of them. The great thing about the experience is that it taught me not only how to ask for referrals but that I can always ask for them with an expectation of receiving them and that happy clients are very willing to give them to me.

This is a quick note to give you some feedback on the tape that I got from you on generating endless referrals. When I first got the tape I didn't expect too much, so I was pleasantly surprised when I listened to it. I found that it was very informative and to the point in an organized format that was easy to follow. The examples given were easy to understand and relate to. My name is Doug White in Los Angeles CA and I took your class today at 11:00 am and was impressed with your 6 point referral system. I have quite a few clients that I have coached over my 43 years as a coach/consultant/trainer and decided to use your method on the clients that were prior to my asking for referrals, at the beginning of my 3 month sessions.

Well, let me say, your system worked wonders. The very first client I called gave me a name and phone number, which I called, and I have an appointment tonight to meet with this new client to sign a mutual agreement to become and equity partner in the purchase or real estate. My fee is $15,000.00 - $5,000 at contract signing and $10,000.00 at closing, with a tracking fee of $100 per month for 30 years. Grand total of $51,000.00.

  • Not having to go anywhere! To get a chance to talk. It is rare in a seminar...that we can do that. Personalized attention.
  • I liked hearing that others are finding that they stumble from time to time as they strive for their goals. Always felt like there was some secret pre-life training that I missed which allowed those around me to know what to do before we even got the lesson. Most people don't talk about it when they stumble. It was refreshing to hear.
  • That by no action I am guaranteeing failure.
  • Having to commit to the goals in front of other people.
  • The quote about procrastination being the poison of the mind...it really made me appreciate how debilitating inaction really is, as opposed to a cute little bad habit.
  • Lick the toad now. It's not as bad as it seems. The quicker you lick it the better you feel and it never becomes a burden in your life (9 steps).
  • The jolt to take action, realizing number of toads I was sitting on.
  • The program's motivating factor was very useful.
